Into your clients’ wishes
It became evident in the course of customer relations that our partners would greatly appreciate Brakel’s support in approaching their target groups. We therefore wrote to a large number of our partners in November 2009, requesting that they indicate what their clients consider important in the area of (fire) ventilation products, projects and service. Our ultimate objective: To gain insight into the needs of various target groups, so that we might cater to these, while adopting a more customer and market oriented approach to business operations.
Results of the survey The survey distinguished between the target groups involved in the various stages of a project.
A summary of the data received* enabled us to draw the following conclusions with regards to the needs of the various target groups: Architect aesthetically superior products, innovation and substantial technical and visual information. Contractor low prices, flexibility and speed. Installer technical data, installation manual, operating instructions and diagrams. End-user quality, operating instructions, low maintenance and convenient replacement of components (for an extended life span).
Engineers/designer technical data, information on the filed of applications, test and inspection reports, flexible solutions. Natural lighting firms details, flexibility in terms of dimensions, installation manuals, favourable prices and supply times.
In addition, it transpired that there is substantial market demand for alternatives in the area of car park ventilation, as well as for smoke and fire screens and control panels.
We may therefore conclude that we (Brakel and partners) thank our joint success to good customer communications, swift and flexible action and innovation. With this in mind, we shall therefore continue to keep you informed of (new) developments during 2010, by means of newsletters, training courses and client days. We naturally also remain open to your suggestions.
