Brakel reaches Level 3 on the CO2 performance ladder
Caring for people and for the environment is a priority at Brakel. This is something we can justifiably say as we recently became certified to Level 3 on the CO2 performance ladder. The CO2 performance ladder is based on the Greenhouse Gas (GHG*) Protocol of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and de World Resource Institute (WRI).
As we develop and implement, the solutions for a better quality of life in buildings have their origin in one source which is nature.
As you know we encourage the Benefits of Nature inside with daylight, natural ventilation and fire safety solutions
Therefore we are proud of this certification. It is an acknowledgment of the contribution we continue to make to the preservation of the natural environment. Examples of our efforts include the implementation of an energy and CO2 reduction plan, and the active role we play in initiatives relating to climate change.
Achieving Level 3 is, of course, only one step. We are already looking ahead and together with you, we want to reach the next level: CO2-neutral building. The innovative concepts, systems and products of our Green Building Program will fit in perfectly.
