Eura(-R) louvered ventilator with up to 17 blades and EN12101-2 compliant!
Brakel’s product development department constantly endeavours to design new products and extend the features of existing ones, while also testing and certifying products in accordance with the EN12101-2 and CE standards. The Eura product range, for instance, has already been tested from type 30-03 (3 blades) up to and including 240-17 (17 blades).
This is an extension of the existing Eura range, which comprised types 60-4 to 240-13 inclusive. The new Eura types comprising 14, 15, 16 and 17 blades have been tested using both pneumatic and electric operating systems. The maximum snow loads for the largest model of type 240-17 are 750 N/m 2 for the pneumatically (PB) and 250 N/m² for the electrically (M-24V DC) operated versions.
Geometrical surface and values
The largest model of the Eura type 240-17 is 3840 mm long and has geometrical surface (Av) of 9.37m². The Euras with 14 blades and upwards are more streamlined, and have a CV value of 0.62. This yields an aerodynamic value (Aw) of 5.81 m² per ventilator!

From now on, you can therefore apply the Eura range both more efficiently and strictly in accordance with the EN12101-2 standard!
