Product development: Expansion of the Estra louver system range
The demand for aesthetic, transparent, glazed louver ventilators for façade applications is steadily increasing. Global use of Brakel’s Estra type transparent louver system for both daily ventilation and smoke & heat extraction in atriums, shopping centre and residential buildings, etc., is consequently also increasing. Our range of Estra products has therefore been substantially expanded.
In addition to the familiar single and double glazed, middle pivoting models, Brakel can now supply top-hinged, edge-secured and both semi- and fully integrated Estra louver systems.
Extended range of single glazed models
In addition to the non-insulated models fitted with 6, 8 or 10 mm single, toughened glass, a version with 12 mm-thick glazing is now available.
Furthermore, while the single glazed models were so far only available with middle pivoting blades and glass, the latest Estra product range comprises both top-hinged and edge-secured louvers in a completely clean-cut and highly aesthetic unit.
Double glazed models
Additions have also been made to Estra range fitted with double glazing and thermally insulated profile sections: The Estra DG is now available in sizes up to 1800 mm (previously 1600 mm) without a mullion, in a semi-integrated unit with 30 mm glazing.
And to complete the range, top-hinged Estra louver systems are also available in both semi- and fully integrated units.
