New reservation system

offers guaranteed delivery period!

Brakel now offers you the option of reserving production capacity free of further obligation, so that you can already guarantee your customer a fixed delivery period during the negotiation phase. The only condition: Brakel has to receive all the data required by an order date established in advance. If you are not awarded the project or the details are not available in time, then the reservation is simply cancelled.

Brakel continually endeavours to improve its offer, order and production processes. For instance, we reply on ‘standard offer requests’ within 24 hours. However, our sales team also responds to rush and highly exceptional offer requests as swiftly as possible. The following factors play a substantial role in this regard:
- the scale of engineering required
- the quantities and numbers of models per order
- special controls
- the type of glazing
- the finish: treated (powder coated or anodised) or untreated
- standard industrial or architectural products
- factory closures and public holidays.
 
The reservation system
It is therefore essential that you finalise the aforementioned details as soon as possible. Our new reservation system offers you an added advantage, however, in negotiations with your customer. You can offer the customer a guaranteed delivery period, provided you supply us with all the data required by the agreed order date.
 
How does it work?
As soon as we receive the (general) details and expected order date from you, we send you a reservation code. This code is linked to a strict order date, by which we have to have received all the data. After all, we cannot begin processing the order until this information is available. Once this order date elapses, the reservation is automatically cancelled.
An example:
- You inform us on the Tuesday of week 2 that you have an appointment the coming Friday to close a deal with a customer, while you also indicate which products are involved.
- You are issued a reservation number based on the order date of Monday week 3 (dispatch Friday week 8 untreated, or Friday week 9 in RAL colour finish).
- In the event that your project is given the go-ahead, then we should receive all the details by the Monday of week 3 as agreed.
- If we do not receive complete details from you by this date, however, then your reservation is simply cancelled.
