Extension of Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris
Our partner in France, Alcaud S.A., has some thirty years of experience in the fire safety sector. The company recently installed the smoke & heat extraction system in the Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris-Nord. The premises in question have a total floor area of some 36,000 m². The smoke & heat extraction system fitted is used for both fire safety purposes and daily ventilation.
Smoke & heat extraction system
The Villepinte Centre’s smoke & heat extraction system comprises 156 Eura louver ventilators mounted in the roof for the extraction of smoke, and a further 150 Euras in the facade. The latter are partially used for smoke extraction (the louver ventilators integrated in the upper level of the facade) and partly for air supply.
Ventilation
The louver ventilators are equipped with integrated electronic controls, which are set in such a manner as to provide optimum ventilation. These controls are also certified in accordance with the NEN 12101-2 standard. |
